Our program is about teaching players how to play the game the right way while cultivating long-lasting relationships. We believe basketball, in its simplest form, comes down to doing your job. Our coaches emphasize teaching each player how to do their job on each possession. Our mission is to push each player in our program to improve and develop their skill.

Isaiah Young
Youth Director

Isaiah Young serves as the Youth Director for the Akron Bobcats. Young graduated from Akron Hoban high school, scoring over 900 points in basketball. Isaiah went on to continue his academic and athletic career at Heidelberg University. Isaiah is a men’s basketball team member, has received the Ohio Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year award, and has been an All-conference selection. Young has been a part of the Akron Bobcats since 2018. First, as a player, he transitioned into coaching a team and now serves as the youth director. Isaiah enjoys giving back to the youth in the Akron area through the sport that has given him so much.
Isaac Williams
High School Director

Isaac Williams serves as the High School director for the Akron Bobcats. Williams is a graduate of Central Hower high school, where he played football. He then continued his academic and athletic career at Ohio Northern University. Williams has extensive experience in sports management and coaching in general. Isaac enjoys impacting the youth/high school careers of players in the Akron area and prides himself on helping develop successful high school players.
Our Coaches
Our coaches are dedicated to each player in the Bobcat program. Many of our coaches have had very successful high school and college athletic careers and are also experienced coaches. We are incredibly fortunate to have the caliber of coaches that we have in our program.
